One Book One Hudson

A Town-Wide Reading Event

One Book, One Community is a program that started in Seattle, Washington in 1996. This mission was to develop a community of readers and involve them in reading and conversing about the same book as well as stressing the importance for reading, writing and expressing ideas.

The Hudson Public Library has also decided to have a One Book, One Community program. We are calling our program "One Book, One Hudson." We have chosen a book for every age group and are planning to do some complimentary programming, although, our main focus will be on the adult book.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                        Next Town-Wide Reading Event Summer 2011
