*The Friends of the Library organization, with monies from the Helen C McLellan bequest, funds an ongoing and important English as a Second Language program for area residents. This program, held in the Tavares Room, is managed by the Hudson/Maynard Adult Learning Center and is aimed at teaching basic English and daily-activity skills to adults. This program is well-attended and generally has a waiting list. More information is available at the Main Desk or call 978-897-4203.
